best diet for weight loss

“Mindful eating is awareness, you pay attention to your food and savour every bite” – Susan Albers

Picking up right where we left, let’s see how healthy heating is more of a psychological change than a physical effort. Psychology, as we know, is the science of behavior. In its essence, it is the study of how and what people do why they do. When it comes to our eating habits, human psychology addresses the following two areas:  Behavior and Cognition. Both of these factors measure our relationship with food irrespective of the good or bad. Our brain functions very differently around different kinds of food. Like an expensive sports car, our brain works the best when it gets only premium fuel. Eating high-quality foods that contain lots of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants nourish the brain and protect it from oxidative stress. Some of the best diets for weight loss are also rich in antioxidants which help in reducing the accumulation of waste in the body.

What we affect directly affects the structure and function of our brain, and ultimately our mood. That’s why junk food tastes so good even when it’s the worst fuel you can put into your body. According to research Junk food contains a list of all the feel-good ingredients which release neurotransmitters like dopamine and oxytocin when consumed only to make us crave more. Instead of any healthy components like vitamins of minerals, these foods are loaded with sugars, calories and a load of Trans and saturated fats.

The cravings for these foods develop an irregular eating habit which then leads to serious health disorders like stress eating, compulsive eating and binging, obesity etc. Depending upon cultural differences, the society we live in, family influence and individual thinking our psychology around food can vary a lot. To lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle we must change our thinking. Like I said weight management and a healthy lifestyle is more of a psychological change than a physical effort. Cut off all the junk today and adhere to some of the best diets for weight loss and maintain a healthy lifestyle. You will see the change in yourself that you always wanted to see.!
